This project was born as a Master in Geographical Information Science (GIS) Dissertation at the University of Edinburgh during the first half of the year 2008 and was developed by Alexandre Nobajas. Even though the research part of the project is finished (you can see a summarized version of it clicking the link below) the website created remains and is currently being maintained and updated. Results of the project should be published soon in a science journal, so a reference to the journal will appear in this page as soon as it is available.
